Remember when Tetris used to be the most popular and addictive game on the Game Boy or on those mini handhelds? Well, these games I have been playing on my mac could well become the next big rage.

The principle is simple: shoot magical balls to clear a deadly chain. Just like with Tetris you have to make pairs, not figures but color pairs. Fire balls to make sets of three, but don’t let them reach the ‘house’ or you’re history! There is actually a whole range of similar games which more or less all do the same. There is Zuma (pc + mac), Luxor 2 (mac) and Luxor: Amun Rising (mac). I am sure there are more, I am just not aware of them. Try them, graphics, sound and gameplay are very polished.

Careful… playing these games is highly addictive (especially at work!).
